Micabella Updated
Well, any of you that know me and have been with me in the Med. Hat mall I have a weakness for the Micabella men who push their samples there (dead sea products and eye shadows, facials, etc.) and I ALWAYS end up buying what they are selling! (It's the accent... and the attention.... and their big brown eyes!!!!!!!!!). Usually when I have returned with my friends I explain the situation to them and we avoid that part of the mall. Today, however, I was with my husband, Steve, and felt that having him with me would discourage the salesmen from approaching me and me from suckering into the sales pitch of the salesmen so I bravely ventured passed with Steve between me and the guys where, yes, you guessed it, the mediterranian sales guy (hunky hot!!!!!!) approached me and $90 dollars later I found myself saying to Steve, "See what happens? I just can't help it. Do you see my problem? Help me!" I didn't feel so bad with Steve being with me but I am thinking that taking a vacation to Italy or Isreal or any of those places where the men have dark-colored hair and eyes and olive skin would not be good! Also, returning to the mall on my own could break my piggybank! I dare anyone to try this and see what happens. If you can with stand it you are a better person than me. At least Steve is in the know at this point! By the way, you can tell Alan (A-lun) I sent you!

Jeans ... Revisited
I had bought Kinsley some jeans last spring at Walmart for $5.00 a pair. I bought four pair. With summer, she was not interested in wearing her jeans at all. Yesterday I convinced her to try them on to see if they still fit. They looked like flood pants so I got creative with 5 pairs of her jeans. Kinsley liked them so much she tried talking me in to letting her wear them to church underneath her dress. I think I have just started a new fashion trend! I'm excited to show them off! Kinsley had a blast being my model.

Three's A Crowd!
Cricket on the left, then Ryker and LuLu on the far right. Now my family of dogs is complete. We are trying to break them from their habit of barking when new people come to our house. I'm using a spray bottle with water in it. It seems to be working.
Both LuLu and Cricket are rescues. Lulu is a bundle of trickery and high jinks, Cricket is a very sweet dog. Ryker is the man of the house. When you see Cricket you can see how much Jack Russel is in Ryker... lots! When we go walking together (that's right, together) we do fine until someone comes in our path and then we bark. Next time I am taking the spray bottle. Just imagine me trying to handle three dogs and a spray bottle. Okay, quit laughing!!!

The Man of My Dreams
I know, you are all probably thinking this is another Troy Bolton blog but it is not! The last while I am finally noticing all the "little" things Steve does for me on a daily basis, never once complaining or making a big deal of it! The dishes are put in the dishwasher and started at the end of every day; the pocket-sized "Twilight" book he just happened to find and bring home for me; errands he runs here and there; getting Kinsley ready and off to school every morning and running Rachel everywhere she needs to go; hugs, loves, his patience every day, over and over. I have got the best guy in the world! After 21 plus years I love him more than ever. He warms my heart. I love my life with him. He truly is my best friend! Thank you, Steve, for loving me through thick and thin (and back to thick, again); for accepting this "quirky, silly, girl" and embracing all of her weirdness and her stunning beauty.
